I feel your pain. Just know, it isn't everyone. Just like there is diversity of thought in other generations, not all so-called Baby Boomers have "Facebook Brain." In fact, I think there are more without it, than have it - and we are just not bothering to duke it out on social media. (well, OK, I call them out on Twitter) I marched in the Women's March, The March for Science and other, and got pretty mad to think "here we are again." I'm a grandmother with pink hair who is embarrassed, enraged and terrified of what I have seen happen to some people I thought I knew. and the age range is 30's to 80s - each end of this range NOT baby boomers. If only it were so easy to have checkboxes to declare "who the problem is..." but it is not so easy. Those of us who who are trying to reign in the insanity are getting pretty worn out. And I include you in that cohort. Hoping we both make it through this.
